A 12-Week WIOA-Approved Workforce & Life Stabilization Program for Veterans
Helping Veterans Build Stability, Purpose, and Sustainable Independence, For Life!
Built for Veterans. Designed for Real Life.
Transitioning out of military service can feel overwhelming, especially when housing instability, employment barriers, health concerns, or lack of support systems are involved.
The Live & Work by Design™ 12-Week Program is a WIOA-approved workforce readiness and life stabilization program specifically designed to support adult and senior veterans as they rebuild structure, confidence, and long-term independence.
This program combines:

Long-term community connection
All delivered within a trauma-informed, veteran-centered framework that honors each individual’s experience, pace, and goals.

What Makes Live & Work by Design Different
This is not a short-term job placement program.
It is a whole-person, long-term stabilization and empowerment system designed to help veterans succeed during the program, and long after it ends.
We focus on:
Structure before pressure
Stability before productivity
Confidence before performance
Support before independence
Veterans are not rushed. They are prepared.
Program Overview: 12 Weeks That Create Lasting Change
Phase 1: Stabilize & Reset (Weeks 1–4)
Foundation, safety, and structure
Veterans begin by rebuilding daily rhythm, clarity, and emotional regulation.
Focus areas:
Establishing routine and accountability
Understanding stress, trauma responses, and nervous system regulation
Goal clarification aligned with personal values
Housing stability coordination (when applicable)
Introduction to workforce readiness expectations
This phase helps veterans move out of survival mode and into grounded forward momentum.
Phase 2: Skill Building & Workforce Readiness (Weeks 5–8)
Confidence, capability, and direction
Veterans receive hands-on support in developing practical skills for employment or income generation.
Focus areas:
Resume development and interview preparation
Career pathway exploration (employment, retraining, education, or entrepreneurship)
Digital literacy and AI-assisted workforce tools
Communication, professionalism, and workplace readiness
Financial stability basics and planning
Each veteran works on a personalized workforce plan, not a one-size-fits-all track.
Phase 3: Transition & Sustainability (Weeks 9–12)
Long-term independence and support
The final phase ensures veterans are not left unsupported once the program ends.
Focus areas:
Job placement support or next-step transition
Income strategy alignment
Long-term housing planning (when applicable)
Community integration and peer support
Ongoing support plan development
Veterans exit the program with clarity, confidence, and a support system, not just a completion certificate.
Lifelong Support: Our Commitment Doesn’t End at 12 Weeks
One of the most critical gaps veterans face is the drop-off of support after a program ends.
We do things differently.
Graduates Receive Ongoing Access To:
Continued community support and check-ins
Resource navigation and referrals
Workforce and career guidance as life evolves
Mental health and wellness support pathways
Peer accountability and mentorship
Our goal is permanency, not program cycling.
Housing & Wraparound Services
For veterans enrolled through housing-based referrals or partner programs:
Temporary housing support (up to 12 months when applicable)
Coordination with HUD-VASH and case management teams
Focus on permanent housing placement and stability
Supportive, structured living environments
Housing is treated as a foundation for success, not a temporary solution.
Trauma-Informed. Veteran-Centered. Outcome-Focused.
Our program is built on:
Trauma-informed care principles
Evidence-based behavioral and workforce strategies
Respect for military culture and lived experience
Collaboration, not compliance pressure
Veterans are partners in their own progress.
